Hey everyone,

I've been searching for weeks on how to get a slider working but I can't figure it out so here is my cry for help..

I came across this lovely post:http://atomicrobotdesign.com/blog/web-development/infinite-slider/

Now what this does is show images (or i use divs) accross the entire screen.

What I want to do is show only 4 images in a seperate div so the previous or following are invisible until you click next or prev..

I also want to have links on my page and when you click them the slider should animate to a corresponding div.

I've been downloading carrousels, different sliders but I can't get it to work, i really want to use the slider function to be able to navigate (animate) to a corresponding div of a link.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

I'm using Orchard cms system and have a menu in there, this menu is generated from code and looks like this:

I'm trying to build a site with a carousel.

The idea is I have a menu and a submenu next to eachother, then after that all the content of the concerning submenu's. I want to use a carousel than can go to the position of a certain item if you click on the items in the menu and submenu's:

item1               item2                item3      item4      item5      item6                   item7      ...
menu_link1      submenu1_link1 content3  content4 content5  submenu2_link1   content7
menu_link2      submenu1_link2                                            submenu2_link2
menu_link3      submenu1_link3                                            submenu2_link3
                       submenu1_link4

So the idea is place all the blocks (menu's or content after each other) and use a back and prev arrow to scroll through the thing and use the link's in the menu's to jump to a certain item.

But it only supports moving to the next and previous item so not jump to a certain item.

Can someone shed his/her light to see how this can be achieved? I know how to program in c# but java/jquery is not really my cup of thea...
