Forum:
Using jQuery
Hi,
I have started having a problem with jQuery when I am trying to select an element by an ID. The element is created through .NET webforms, and I am guessing this is the problem, could someone please tell me the actual problem with this code?
$('
#ctl00$MainControlsPlaceholder$ctl00$resultsRepeater$ctl01_ShownPrice strong')
The error I get is:
Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #ctl00$MainControlsPlaceholder$ctl00$resultsRepeater$ctl01_ShownPrice strong
Thanks for any help.

jQuery Mobile
Hi,
I am trying to style my input fields on a site with jQuery mobile.
Everything seems Okay apart from when I do a post back on an Update Panel.
The inputs within the update panel no longer have the jQuery mobile style.
I have tried running
$('html').trigger('create');
but nothing happens.
I am using jQuery 1.8.3 and jQuery Mobile 1.2.0
Does anybody know anything else I can try or have a solution?
Thanks
Martin
