- Hi i would like to know what is the expected result, as it as changed from 1.9.21. create dialog2. inject html via ajax (don't think the source matters, put something in the dialog)3. destroy the dialog: $(this).dialog("destroy");1.10.0removes the dialog1.9.2removes the dialog and makes the containing element invisible/display:none;So basically it looks very odd that you now have whatever was put in the dialog appearing on the screen!appended to the bottom, creating a scroll-bar....

There is an error in the actual demo... view console to see. so you can reproduce using the demo'sThe custom autocomplete demo is rather simple...! please try with something which isn't default and see that it does not work.nothing in the custom section is rendered.... error"Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property '_renderItem' of undefined"no modifications to my code and this works fine in 1.8.3 and 1.9.2 with backward comp disabled.trying to up to 1.10.0 rc and i can not.- 13-Jul-2011 12:56 PM

Hi allMy name is Calvin,I'm not a complete noob, well... maybe I am but I do! my home work before asking.Could someone help me fix the Jquery Dialog issue in IE7.When centering the dialog always position middle on resizing of the browser window.To reproduce take the JQuery dialog, straight form the newest release. Open the dialog and position it middle.Below is the code that will work in IE8 IE9 and FF but not IE7, IE6//resize the window so it always sits in the middle$(window).resize(function(){$('#somediv').dialog("option", "position", "center");return false;});In IE7 and IE6 (not that bothered about 6)When resizing there are issues:Make the browser window quite small, say 500 by 500, for example. Then in a circular motion resize the browser window( when the dialog is open obviously). The dialog will be thrown off page and you wont be able to find it and it increases your page height by like 6000px, also the dialog jumps up and down.An example of what I'm talking about which already works....is if you go on this forum underhttp://forum.jquery.com/getting-started and click on the graph lower left, it will open bigger and in the middle of the view area. when resizing the browser window it will stay in the middle of the screen.This works in IE7 I've tested it. this is what im trying to achieve but with a dialog.And i dont want to use the solution posted on the web which is: create a rule for IE7 that closes the dialog and then reopens it...Im wanting the same as in the forum with the graph, but with a dialogplease help me get this to work.- «Prev
