I am trying to add a checkbox to the left of the h3 on a split list-view. 

I thought since adding an image to left is possible adding a checkbox would work but there seems to be several conflicts.

There's been some discussions on the matter.

Has anyone managed to add an checkbox to the left? Is there and extension out already for this behavior?
