Any news regarding shadow for modal dialogs? I'm new to jQuery and I can't make it work

Hi,
I have created my own theme using themRoller, and I liked the shadow that is being showed in the overlay dialog. How can I apply it? I have searched and seen that like over one year ago it was removed because of some problems for 1.7, but right now we are in 1.8, so I guess it could be solved.

I can't find anything in the API.

Is it still TODO feature?
