at first I wasn't sure what problem you are addressing.
But I think, it is for plain html applications where you don't have the possibility to deliver dynamic web pages (don't have a server with a application-state). You should make that a bit clearer, it was a bit confusing for me.

Interesting. This reminds me a bit on yui or sencha touch where almost everything is done in a more or less similar way you're describing. But one strength of jqm is its approach of enhancing valid html5 standard compliant standalone pages. Having a system of pages and addressable states and enhance them to a device specific application by client side js is, i my opinion the best approach at the moment and that is what jqm does for me. But there is one thing i am really impressed by your tutorial. something i dont get with the jqm standard approach. you can load a page translate to it and then progressively load the content. that is cool. thanks for the work.
