We're using the pop-up dialog element. ( data-rel="dialog") to load a simple search form. The user enters a 3-digit code and is redirected to the profile on our site.
However, after that search, the back button no longer functions properly. In some instances it will only take people back to the home page of the site and not to any of the subsequent pages, and in other instances, it stops working entirely.
Here's the working draft of our site which shows these issues.
I'd like to add to this. We have similar behaviour at m.goba.mobi.
We have a form which allows you to add users to an event by email. The form submits to itself. When the submit button is pressed, the page reloads and shows the new user. The problem is that the back button is missing.
similar thing is happening to me! after submitting a form (using .bind("submit"..)), the back button no longer works on that page. after clicking it a couple times it sometimes takes you the home page (instead of the previous page). before submitting the form, the back button works just fine.
i don't know if this is related, but after submitting the form i get the error "Uncaught TypeError: Object #<Object> has no method 'attr'" on jquery.mobile-1.0a3.min.js line 49 (and i'm not using .attr in the form submit part of my code).
