Hate saying bad things about great project, but... It might be obvious for american people that default is US english and that international is a special case, but for european people, international is the default. So it's quiet a pain to do "something differently" for a given culture.
I might understand that "en" is not present as the date format is different between en-US and en-GB. But I don't really understand not having en-US in the regionals. I believe it's for the sake of lightweight, but the cost is consistency, an ugly 'if' in the code with a comment "american english needs a trick".
That being said, thanks for the copy trick. Just have to choose between that and using a custom copy of jquery-ui-i18n.js
