No, jQuery UI Tabs explicitly looks for the first ul or ol to use as the tab headers. A list makes more sense semantically as well as it is a collection of links to the actual content.
I wanted to use rotate() first but then I realized that it is not supprted anymore by jQuery and is now only available as plugin for jQuery UI tabs. Is there a way to rotate without using jQuery UI tabs?
