We have been using the cycle plugin on many sites and after Firefox 10 was released we are noticing a solid black box appearing over the slides during the transitions.
This is basically the code we are using:
Javascript:
- $('#hero img:first').fadeIn(1000, function() {
- $('#hero').cycle({
- fx: 'fade',
- speed: 2000,
- sync: 0,
- timeout: 9000,
- cleartype: false,
- cleartypeNoBg: true
- });
- });
html:
- <div id="hero" class="slideshow1">
- <img src="image1.jpg" />
- <img src="image2.jpg" />
- <img src="image3.jpg" />
- <img src="image4.jpg" />
- </div>
What happens:
- transition starts
- image area turns solid black
- next image fades in from black color
In other browsers (FF9.x and under, IE7+, Chrome, Safari) the transition would be from one slide to the next and not from black to the next slide.
Does anyone have an explanation for this? Thank in advance.
