Cycle plugin: no autostart, click to start slideshow?

I might be missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to disable autostart on the Cycle plugin, then when the user clicks a link (e.g. a play button, not the actual slide) it starts the slideshow playing.

Is this possible to do?
