Hi, I had the same problem with a native datepicker on the field. I made the input field readonly <input readonly="readonly" etc> this disabled the soft keyboard from popping up.

Hi, It is quite simple solution. You bind a keypress event on document $(document).bind("keypress",function(e){});. With that you will catch every keypress (char) pressed on document, and barcode is such event. When barcode ends itself it usually sends char #13 (enter) to finish capturing the code and there you go. On every enter pressed (barcode ends) you simply clear some container or holder of the barcode. On every char you put this char on the container/holder.

hey, I also ran into similar problem, could you help solve it?

My clients have Windows CE 5.0 on them and when we plug the device into the thin client we get "Unidentified USB Device". We are able to plug in keyboard, mouse and even usb thumb drive, but it does not recognise the bar code scanner.

These scanners do work on our existing HP thin clients so obviously there is some driver missing from the new thin clients

 

If anyone can suggest how to correct this so that we can pass through the USB device it would be appreciated.
