Disable overflow scroll of underlying page

Hello,

JQM pages scroll on mobile devices slightly (drag scroll and bounce back) even when there is no need for it, ie. the whole content fits into a single page. I'd like to disable this behavior in order to make my app more native-like. But all solutions I've found so far not only disable this extra scrolling but hurt regular JQM functioning one way or other. Is there any better solution?

What ways are that?

Are you using overflow scroll, or normal page scrolling? Your post is ambiguous.

I don't recommend using overflow scrolling. It's not ready for prime-time yet.

If your page will fit, then just attach a touchmove callback to the page, and call preventDefault().

What do I do if my page doesn't fit? jqMobi is able to prevent the user to drag/scroll the page down so you can see the url line. I have tried to perform the above on page level but that completely disables scrolling which is not god as my page is larger than display area/viewport.
