Dynamic Page Generation Sample not functioning in 1.30rc1

The URL behavior is not functioning as it should in the provided example. Notice the contents after the question mark are cut off when clicking on a list item. it works in 1.2

I don't see any difference between those two demo pages. What browser/device are you using?

What question mark? I don't see any question mark on those pages.

It appears in the chrome and IE9 and maybe other browsers as well. when an item is clicked. it passes an argument in the URL like this?category=animals
