using .live can bring unexpected results if you are not sure how it works...

instead of live you can use 'on'.

Still I am not sure what exactly is issue here

don't know whats in ur php or what markup you got..

I suggest to make a sample in jsfiddle with only html/script.

You can hardcode ur json response.....

I've created a fiddle:

There it works. Everytime the "Testbase Somewhere in the ocean" appears as expected.

The only difference I think between my code and the fiddle I created is, that I use 3 separate files for each view instead of a multipage document.

I'll make a try with 3 separate files now.
