Ho to 'fix' the dimensione of a button ?

Is there a way to keep fixed the width and the height of a .button() ?

It's for estetic, i want a button with fixed with of '5em' , because the text will change but max number of chars is 5 chars. But I want the button doesn't resize itself .

Make changes in the style or css for class you are assigning to the button...it works...Don't use auto there...so it will not resize...Sorry don't have enough time to explain it with example..hope it helps you...
