I don't know how to do this. I tried the following, but it doesn't work:
$(document).ready(function(){
('input[type="button"]').click().submit();
});

btw, here's my HTML:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<title>Test</title>
<link type="text/css" href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" />
<script src="jquery-1.7.1.min.js"></script>
<script src="script.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<form action="test.php" method="post">
<input type="button" value="submit" />
</form>
</body>
</html>

Nevermind, I figured it out. It's done this way:
$(document).ready(function(){
$('input[type="button"]').click(function(){
$('form').submit();
});
});

The only thing you may want to do is give your form an ID and submit it specifically that way, in case you multiple forms in the document.
