The final dialog works fine on FF but on IE8 it is all messed up, the closing button is way on the right and not within the bounds of the box, the title bar is not working, it seems like a positioning issue in CSS. I've searched here and there but only find replies which seem to have now been integrated in the last version, still it does not seem to work. Am i doing something wrong?
Already tried that one, at first i had a div with this ID. Used autoopen false and used the line you gave me : Same behaviour. I'm guessing the problem does not lie on the calling but on the CSS. I've tried doing just this function without anything else on the page and i have practically the same behaviour (the close button is nowhere to be seen)
cynroj, So does this mean that an HTML5 site, using HTML5 features, cannot properly perform Dialog features and functions in IE 8 and 9 browsers? Did you get that understanding from your research and Google searches?
My Dialog displays OK, but a function within it does not perform, as it does on FF and Chrome. I was going to fix it later, but maybe I should "punt" on IE 8 and 9. Thanks for any tips.
