jqGrid on Page loaded in jQuery.UI.Dialog
A "Parent" Page uses the following method for loading a page
containing a jqGrid plugin in a jQuery.UI.Dialog modal form.
$("#TestDialog").click(function() {
$("#DialogTest").dialog({resizable: false, modal: true, width:
500, height: 500});
$("#DialogTest").load("ModalComments.aspx", function() {
}); //end ("#DialogTest").load
}); //End $("#TestDialog")
If the Grid definition section from the Page's $(document).ready
(function() {}); is removed, the page loads with no problem. This page
works well on its own or in a different simple modal form structure.
In this case, the parent page contains a jqGrid plugin and opens a
UI.Dialog using a button which loads a page containing a jqGrid.
Since all these pages are using the same jQuery, jqGrid and UI
JavaScript libraries, I wonder how much separation in terms of
JavaScript exists between different jQuery plugins on the same html
page.
Is there a preferred technique for using all these plugins together?
