jQMobile Dialog

Hi,

I want to show a jQMobile Dialog by javascript statement. By clicking on a button i want to do some processing and show a dialog on success / failure.

i guess you can use the changepage method with the "role" property set to" dialog".

Dialogs use a tag with data-rel attribute.

Maybe you can use this:

$.mobile.changePage( 'YOUR-URL', {transition: 'pop'} );

http://jsfiddle.net/olli/54jFt/ works for me.

the data-rel attribute is the solution if you want to open a dialog with a link.

from the docs: <a href="foo.html" data-rel="dialog">Open dialog</a>

i also saw this way in another website,but i want my dialog show in the same page,do you know how to realize it? thanks a lot!

probably he wants something like a modal window.
