I can't replicate your problem. Can you provide the URL of a page that demonstrates it?

I still can't see any problem - the page operates as I would expect. What are the exact steps to produce the problem? Which browser are you using?

I am using chrome 22.0... and following are the steps to reproduce the problem
1. select date in first textbox "22/11/2012" 

The datepicker shows the popup calendar when the field gains focus. As the focus is still on that field it cannot gain it again until you click somewhere else and then back again. You could remove focus on the onSelect callback:
