Can you please tell me what you did to make PhoneGap work on Android with JQM? I had mine working on the alpha version but it no longer works in PhoneGap after updating JQuery Mobile to beta. It still runs fine as a plain web app.
What doesn't work, I followed all the guidelines provided after every jquery mobile release you should have a look at that on the blogs.
changes from vclick back to click method signatures changed like the changePage
Calls like $("#page_id").page() listview("refresh") $('#page_id').page('destroy').page();
are required to refresh content and maintain styling.
I also disabled transitions and ajax on jquery mobile for my phonegap application.
I think I found and fixed it. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) it
was my bug. I forgot to add 2 data attributes to my login page tag
that were added recently in the web app. This sets up my event
handlers and AJAX call bound to the login form that dynamically loads
the 2nd page. Without doing this, the creation code was never called
so the 2nd page was not loaded when it tried to change to it.
But I also confirmed the order of script loading is also important!
The following summary works for me:
My app is still not released in the market as we are undergoing a complete change in our website theme and so the mobile theme will also be effected, but if you would like to try the app you can download a demo release from the following url
