I have a question. I have an Autocomplete the is shwing a list of Active people. Is there a way to only show Active people but if they type a name of an Inactive person the name will show in the input box but not in the dropdown list?
This is a large amount of complicated code (for me, anyway) with no comments to describe the purpose of sections. If you can identify the function that causes an issue, post just that section, and describe the desired behavior, you'll probably get some help from this forum.
This code I got from jquery i think. This is the autocomplete code to allow option group in the drop down. So what it all does I am unsure. I am just starting to learn Jquery and my skills are not that great yet. What I want to do is I want to load all active and non active people in autocomplete but only show the Active people in the list. If the type Jane in the autocomplete input I want it to search for all Active and Non active people show the match in the list to choose from.
I can have a radio button to choose active or non active but I can see some one searching for Jane Smith who is non active getting confused. So I thought if there was a way to have Jane Smith pop up in the list when she is typing the name that would be more user friendly, however I am unable to find out how that can be done.
