Problems with superfish dropdowns

Hello,

I am using Django/Django CMS and Ext 3.3.1 with the Superfish 1.4.8 javascript library to build drop down menus. The menu system works great in Firefox, but is more or less non-functional in IE. The top level menu entries are visible, and colors change while hovering over different choices, but they do not drop down in IE. I would appreciate if anyone has had experience with this, and can tell me where to start looking to achieve this basic functionality in IE.

could be css related, or js code error...... no way to know based on info provided

I have now inserted the Doctype statement but still get the same results... Thanks for replying!

page is still running in quirks mode...take out comments before doctype

EDIT: also check your other html comments, have issues there

run page through w3c validator

Thank you! Removing the initial comment did the trick.... will check in validator now.

Glad it worked out. Not sure how anyone could have generated that comment, however I think you'll see how untrue it was
