It's unclear just what you are asking. Why do you want to do this? Why not just use a text input? Do you want to show the slider at some point?

So, I can only guess what you want.

You can examine the HTML structure using Web Inspector, FireBug, etc. and construct a jQuery selector to select the parts you want to hide. Then use jQuery .hide() function or else change opacity. (Not clear if you want to maintain the space taken by the slider.)

Sorry, here's the picture. The idea here is to hide the sliders and leave only input field visible on a very small screen. It works as you can see, but only in case when I hide all sliders with following method:

As I suggested previously, you need to examine the HTML that JQM generates, find the part you want to hide, and construct a selector that will target that element, and then hide it.

JQM developers can't anticipate every possible use of the widgets.
