Short answer, yes. Our eventual plan is to scale jQuery Mobile's presentation to work on tablets and desktop, eventually merging as one framework with jQuery UI. As for IE support, we currently deliver enhancements to browsers that support CSS3 media queries, which is why IE gets a basic experience. In the future, we plan to support IE on Mobile and the desktop. For now, you can override jQuery Mobile's global configuration to let IE in if you'd like (just beware that we don't actively test in IE yet). Here's a gist: https://gist.github.com/723870

IE 7-9 are supported out of the box now.

if you can rule out JQM, then it must be something on your website I assume.

For starters, does IE find errors on the page? What errors? Have you added console.log somewhere in your script?

Beyond that you would have to post something to get an answer.

Your includes don't show the JQM css file  is it merely not visible in your snippet?
