First, just to be clear, this question is out of curiosity and not meant to be pushy; I'm trying to schedule certain things in the dev pipeline and this may change some of my schedule.
Are their timelines for when jQM 1.1.0 RC2 (and/or more finalized versions) are anticipated being released? Is there a webpage somewhere (or something else) that I could monitor to keep apprised of this sort of plan?
JQM 1.1.0 RC2 was released on Feb 29th and in the release notes they state "If all goes well, we hope to release the final build in about 2 weeks". Since it is now March 29th, one can only presume that things are not going well.
Looking at GitHub, it looks like they're currently sitting with 78 issues closed and 17 still open with the 1.1.0 release. (82%)
I read a bit ago that it is going slower because of the change in transitions from 1.0.1 to 1.1.0-rc.1. There was an overwhelming amount of people who didn't like the way the transitions change from 1.0 to 1.1rc, so they decided to work on a solution where you can use transitions from 1.0.1 or the new ones in 1.1.rc-1. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact post that I read it, perhaps some searching will get you there. Unless this changed I believe this is the case.
It looks like (at least part of) the new hybrid slide transition logic was merged into the master branch a couple hours ago. I just pulled from master and confirmed that the old slide transition is back (in Desktop Chrome anwyway). So, I'm guessing RC2 could land any day now.
Tonight Today is looking promising...
At this point, if you've pulled from master since about 12 hours ago, you're basically running RC2. It looks fantastic...and well worth the wait. I have one or two things to report, but they're minor.
