- Hello,I have a rather simple problem (I think) but can't seems to find a simple solution.I have a table and one of the cells has a 'today' class.
- <table>
- <tr>
- <td>1</td>
- <td>2</td>
- </tr>
- <tr>
- <td class="today">3</td>
- <td>4</td>
- </tr>
- </table>
Now I have to add a 'dim' class to all the cells before '.today', that's it :) Of course, the table is dynamic (it is a calender).My solution was to get the index of 'td.today' and then slice all table cells until the index, but $('td.today').index() returns '0' since it is the first element in that particular table row ...Can anyone provide a simple solution?Thanks!Christophe- Hi,I wonder how you reload a page, when you manually delete browser cookies using the browsers Ctrl + Shift + Del menu.Something like:

- Hi,For some odd reason my webbrowser (FF + android) is requesting the content of a dialog twice.This is my pretty basic code:

I'm trying to create a login form with jquery mobile. all goes well, but onsubmit I want to prevent the page from animating to the left. I suppose this is by using e.preventDefault(), but this doesn't work :(

EDIT: With validating the input I mean, perform an AJAX request to first validate the username and password, and on error, show an error message in the HTML.

Some time ago I signed in using Chrome on the forum, checked 'Keep me signed in' on. When I navigate to the forum again with Chrome, I'm landing in a loop. I get a message 'Loading ... please wait', and then the page refreshes over and over again.
I use firefox now.

I'm starting to play arround with jQuery mobile and it looks very promising!
I'm trying to do the following: Users can manage files using a directory structure (folders and files). The basic structure is:- <div data-role="page">

The list items represent folders. When a user clicks one of the list items an ajax call should get the content of that folder, then the folder must slide down (like a slide down menu) and the new files should appear under the folder. I wonder how to create the slidedown itself. I could code this in jQuery itself, but wonder if there are native jQuery mobile methods to do this?

Christophe- I want to create an overlay to show a photo in the middle of the screen with a navigation menu. As overlay I use something like:.overlay {position: absolute;top: 0;left: 0;z-index: 1000;height: 100%;width: 100%;background-color: grey;opacity: 0.5;}This works fine, however you can still click on links on the page under the overlay.Does anybody know how to do this properly?Thanks!
- Hi,I'm creating a script to get the next photo without reloading a webpage. To make it more smoothly, I fadeOut() the old image, and fadeIn() the new image.However, when the new image is not yet fully loaded, the fadeIn() method doesn't really make sence. So I wonder if there is a way to first show an ajax loader, and after the new image is fully loaded, fadeIn the new image.This is how far I got so far :-)

Hi,I have created a carousel which animates a wrapper to the left every x-seconds. It works very well, except when I leave the webpage (without closing, just open another tab) and come back after x-minutes. Suddenly the carousel is rotating very fast, like it tries to attain itself. After a while, the carousel is rotating normal again. I wanted to create a user friendly website where developers can easily upload and maintain jQuery plugins, because the current website doesn't satisfy me. Other developers can view demos and download these plugins. Usability and maintainability (updates of jQuery plugins) will be the keywords of this new website.However, I don't seem to find the time to create this website all by myself. Perhaps there are other developers who would like to contribute. The plan is to create an online messageboard where developers can discuss the structure and design of the website. There will be a need for front end and back end developers and a designer. When people move the mouse away from the arrow, the box fadeOut(). Simple as that!However, when you hover over the right bottom of the arrow (it is a .png image) the .hover() is triggered over and over again, which makes the box fade in, fade out, fade in, fade out, ...Does anybody know a workarround?Christophe

But when I run the following code it returnes an undefined.- GLOBAL.val3();
Does the second block of code overrides the first GLOBAL object? Is there a way to push more properties to an existing object using the same pattern?Christophe- Hi,I have to stuff multiple objects in global var populated in a foreach loop and seperated by a comma.The loop is:

Hello,
I have 2 monitors with a different resolution. It is important in my application that I get the screen size of the monitor where the webbrowser is located. When I try to get the screen size (window.screen.height + window.screen.width) only IE gives me always the screen size of the main monitor where my taskbar (windows7) is located, instead of the screen size of the secondary screen where the webbrowser is located. It does work in all other webbrowsers ...I have created a page with an alert on JSbin.com to show you your screen resolution. If you use 2 monitors open the page in one of the monitors. You will notice you will get the screen resolution of the screen where your web browser is located, except in IE (hoera!)http://jsbin.com/ufolu5
Does anybody knows a good workarround?
