On index.php, I use the multi navigation and have "pages" setup like #page1, #page2, #page3 etc...

I have a list with some titles. Each row is linked to play.php. Is there a way I can pass what row they clicked on to play.php? I tried doing play.php?id=N but apparently that doesn't work

I have a div with the overflow set to auto. This is a mobile web app and on iOS, scrollable divs do not show a scroll bar so I am attempting to build one. The scroll event fires when I scroll on the iPad, I just need to know the scroll percent now so I can change my custom scroll track handle position.

I noticed the page you open remains open even when you go back. I want it to close after it is done transitioning to being hidden. MY reason for this is the pages has a video on it and if they hit back, the sound of the video continues to be heard. Sure I can call the pause method on the video, but the video will still download in the background.

My main concern is to stop the video from caching if they've gone back

I have my main page (main.php) which has a thumbnail list. When I click a list item, I go to video.php where I grab an ID and embed the src from a db result. The video plays and works fine. My question is when I hit the back button, the video will continue to play if it hasn't been paused or stopped. What can I do to fix this?

I have a list that is displaying fine. Each list item is linked to #video.

I am generating the list via php/mysql. I was wondering how I could pass an ID to the #video page. Thanks

I tried making the links #video&id=aNumber, but I get the "error loading page" error

I have some divs and on their title bars if you click them, it toggle its child div to hide/show

It works fine right now, but what if I want them all hidden initially? How could I do that?

When I click the title bar, I run this method:

   }

Now if I can just get all the divs and set them all hidden initially :)

I have a form where I click a button and it duplicates the inputs thus now having X of the same inputs.

The input name looks like so:

<select id="select" name="cs_quantity[]">

Is there a way I can check the all values of the quantity before submitting the form? I want to make sure they've chosen a quantity other than 0, thanks.

I cannot get the dimensions of my swf to animate for whatever reason.

This works:

1.     function resizeSwf(contentHeight)
       {
           document.getElementById('swfplayer').height = contentHeight + 20;
       }

But this does not:

1.     function resizeSwf(contentHeight)
       {
           $("#swfplayer").animate({
               height:contentHeight + 20
           },400);
       }

I am using jquery-1.4.3.min.js and I have verified it is at the correct path.

Hey guys just wondering if you can help me out real quick.

I have some buttons. Each button toggles the display of their assigned div. My question is if a div is already up and they click another button, I want to hide the current div and still show the div they clicked on. I got close to what I needed but it wasn't working. This is the function I use in the onclick for each button

I am building some video player controls and when I mouse over/out the volume icon, I want the volume slider to appear and disappear.

On the mouseout, I want it delayed so what I did was this:

1.     $("#mutebtn").mouseover(
           function()
           {
               $("#slider").fadeTo("fast",1);
           }
       );
      
       $("#mutebtn").mouseout(
           function()
           {
               $("#slider").fadeTo("fast",0).delay(2000);
           }
       );

It delays but it puts the delay on the mouseover...so naturally I put the delay on the mouseover and then the delay was on the mouseout which is the correct behavior...am I missing something here???

I have used simple JS before so I am somewhat familiar. Can somebody explain what the $ character is all about?

The above code works fine, but I am not understanding the $ and why its encapsulated in parens. Thanks.

Is it possible to click on the progress bar and have its value change? Say I click at 75% of the bars length, the value changes to 75%. Does that make sense? I am working on seeking of an html5 video and I am using the jquery ui progress bar.

I have a button where on hover, the background-color changes. Is it possible to fade or tween between the over and out color? I've never used jquery before so a link to an example or a small example would be awesome
