Hi,

I wonder if it's possible, because my use case is quiet not easy.
I need to register the buttons click event with jquery live method.
But I'd like to prevent the button click to be send to the collapsible.

None of this works (obviously) :

1. event.preventDefault();
   event.stopPropagation();
   event.stopImmediatePropagation();
   return false;
   

Any idea ?

Hi,

Is there an elegant way to modify some of the (private) inner funciton of the changePage method without rewriting the whole function ?

I wonder if those inner function will be exposed to $.mobile as methods some day ?
To another pointer ?

The changePage is a big method and may need some refactoring in certain circumstance.
Any good advice appreciated.

In the docs, we can see an IPad showing the UI component UISplitViewController :

Maybe later, a version of the framework will permit such a presentation ?! Not now.

Considering the jquerymobile page structure principle, how could one implement such an IHM with the current state (alpha3) of the framework ?
I mean some sort of menu, staying on each page plus the page content.

Is not using the mobilize() function the solution as stated here :

Developers can choose to omit the mobilize() function and write their own tools to trigger the jQuery Mobile plugins
