Dynamic content - DOM data loaded, nothing visible

jQuery Mobile
Hi, been playing around with jQuery for a while and just picked up mobile.
Tried to load dynamic content from php file with loadPage.
I can see that the DOM gets filled, but I cannot get is to show visibly..tried a lot and am lost now.
Any help appreciated. Below is javascript code.
$(document).ready(function() {
$("li a").click(function() {
$pageContainer = $("div#dldid" + $(this).attr("dldid"));
$.mobile.loadPage( "./_ajaxforms/bookingnfo_R.php", {
showLoadMsg: true,
type: "get",
data: "dldid=" + $(this).attr("dldid") + "&page=mobile",
pageContainer: $pageContainer
});
//
tried all options below...
//$("div#dldid" + $(this).attr("dldid")).trigger('create');
//$pageContainer.children().page();
//$pageContainer.page();
//$("div#dldid" + $(this).attr("dldid")).trigger("load");
//$("div#dldid" + $(this).attr("dldid")).addClass('ui-page');
//$("div#dldid" + $(this).attr("dldid")).trigger('pagecreate');
});
//return false;
});
So again, actual content is received from the php file and placed in below container, but never shown.
Container:
<div data-role="page" id="planning1">
<div data-role="header">
<h1>Clientnrs: ...</h1>
</div>
<div data-role="content">
<ul data-role="listview">
<li>Starttijd: ...</li>
<li>Duur:...u </li>
<li><div data-role="page" id="dldid1" name="dldid1">...here goes content...</div></li>
</ul>
</div>
<div data-role="footer">
</div>
</div>
Note: using jquery 1.8.2 and mobile 1.2.0
