Forum:
Getting Started
This should be pretty straight forward but I am struggling,
I have this <ul id="abc"></ul> in a dialog box
In the open event of dialog box I am populating the #abc dynamically and trying to get the list after populating it as
var abcList = $('#abc li');
But it does not return any element? Is it because dom is not yet loaded?
How can I select this list?
Thanks in advance!!!

Using jQuery UI
Is it possible to un-select multiple selected items (lasso) by clicking anywhere in the demo div? I am trying to use:
$("#demo:not(#
selectable)").
click( function(e){
alert("hi");
});
But this event is getting raised on multi-select as well. How can I solve this?
