Hallo, I need to append a parameter during an ajax call: I was thinking about something like below:

The problem seems to be with the ajaxSend parameters. It seems that I cannot modify none of them:
settings.data = settings.data + someCustomData does not work: are the parameters read-only?

Hallo all. I got a javascript object with some propeties let's say
function Animal() {
this.id; this.name;
}I need to call id function in a dynamic way to get and set its value: something like this
Animal animal = new Animal();
var propertyName = "id";
animal.+propertyName = "name";
I tried like this:
$animal = $(animal);
$animal[propertyName]();
but i receive animal.propertyName is not a function.Is there an elegant way to do it with jQuery?

MAssimo- I got this piece of code

where firstInput, #secondInput are input type text and firstOption is an option type.
They are exclusive each other: is it possbile to call on the resultant inputOption the val() function if it is a input type or the text() function if it is an option type?

Hallo all.
I need to contact a server side component sending some parameters and
open on the user browser the dialog box for opening or saving the
file.
The file that the server side component creates is a PDF.
So i create clien side this function that contacts the requested url:

Anyway I tried to get the file via ajax call in this way

And the file is downloaded and prompted at the user as toString of the
binary.

Hallo all.
I have a problem with a draggable div created with the containment
option set to document.
The relative css for the div is
.divclass {
top:50%;
left:50%;
height:300px;
width:600px;
margin-left:-300px;
margin-top:-150px;
}
The properties margin-left and margin-top seem to make some problems
with the containment option on the left side and on the top side:
infact with these properties is possible to drag the div out of the
screen on the left (for the 50% of his width) and out of the screen on
the top (for the 50% of his height).
Any suggestion to correct this strange behaviour?

Hallo all.
I'm using the tablesorter 2.0 plugin and I found it marvellous.
I have a question about the sorting algorithm.
Imagine that i got a table with 2 columns with text content: column A
and column B
When i first order column A I click on the header and the content is
sorted in ascending order from A to Z; then I click on column B and
the content is sorted in ascending order from A to Z; now I click
again on column A and the content is sorted in descending order from Z
to A.
I imagine that this is the default plugin behaviour. Is there any way
to reset the order history of each column when I click on another
column?

Hallo all.
I got e problem with this piece of code with ie6.
I'm trying to make an input text readonly with a predefined value and
I need to cancel the value only when some key is pressed on keyboard.
Her is the code

The code do work on every browser except ie6 (on ie6 the input text
seems not to receive the focus when is readonly and so the event is
not fired up).

I'm using the slidingToggle("slow) function and it seems that on micro
$oft browser the slide is not so slow as on Firefox.
Any workaround for this behaviour?

Hallo all.
I have an input text binded with datepicker.
I need to insert the date only through the datepicker and not via
keyboard.
I thought to make the input text readonly but i need also to enable
the user to cancel the date via keyboard.

I need to configure the datepicker to disable days from a date array
in a dynamic way.
I have a javascript Array that contains dates that I want to enable in

Hallo all.
I'm using datepicker with ie6 and I notice the problem with the
datepicker with combo box (the combo box stay on top of the datepicker
div in the right side).

Hallo all.
I'm trying to use the datepicker localize option; I copied the example
from the tutorial as you can see below:

Everything works fine in this way.
When i try to move the code in the document.ready the locale does not
work any more. It seems that it takes always the last locale
javascript referenced in the html file.

So it seems that is not possible to change programmatically the
locale.
Any idea?

Hallo all.
I have a problem with a system in production environment.
Unfortunately the error is not systematic and I cannot reproduce it in
development environment.
The client has ie6 and the page he is visiting is made with the tabs
plugin.
I read on internet that disabling activex may cause problems like
this.
Is there any way to debug in a better way this problem?

Hallo all.
I got this need: i have to modify the space between the tabs.
In firefox I defined in the css these classes:
.ui-tabs-nav li {
float: left;
width: 120px;
_width: 120px;
}
and
.ui-tabs-nav a, .ui-tabs-nav a span {
margin: 0 10px;
padding: 8px;
width: 100px;
_width: 120px;
height: 35px;
_height: 50px;
line-height: 12px
}
The css classes are correct for firefox, but i cannot make them work
with ie6.
I can make the li larger, but I cannot make it same dimension as the
span.
any idea?
