Dear All, How can I make an installed JQM application that is installed on mobile phone connect to a mysql database. If I access the application via a website where I have hosted it, the application works well.
This is the code that works well on a website but cant work on mobile phone. $db_handle = mysql_connect("localhost","dbname","password");
If I substitute the localhost above, with the IP address or domain name is still not working. Any help will be appreciated.
Hallo Everyone, Is it possible to have a grid or perhaps a table in JQM which when you click on the column title in can sort records in either ascending or descending. Also in the same table is there a possibility of collapsing a row in order to display more detailed information.
Anyone with an idea of how the two features can be tackled or has a link to some useful content kindly send them
Hallo, I using the following syntax to perform word wrap (white-space: normal;) The command is able to perform word warp on simulators and emulator but when I ran the app in an actual mobile device, its not performing the word wrap.
Hallo All, If I am on page1.html and I want to load page2.html in a specific part of the page using anchors, how can I achieve that. Because using this link <a href=page2.html#anchorname> will not since its looking for a page called anchorname.
I have just started Jquery Mobile and am really impressed by it. Now I have a question regarding one of the files that the mobile web app connects online i.e jquery.mobile-1.1.1.min.css. If I put this link in the header section(<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.0a1/jquery.mobile-1.0a1.min.css" /> )
When I preview the app it shows the right arrow for all items in my list. But when I interchange the above link with my downloaded css such as <link rel="stylesheet" href="supportfiles/jquery.mobile-1.1.1.min.css" /> it doenst show the arrow but just a grey circle as below
