i was hoping that someone might be able to help. I need to have only 1 page visible at all times. All navigation is done through a single DIV. I need to be able to change the content of the DIV with the click of a button and the content is from external pages kept in the same directory.

Is this possible? the external pages are not heavy but have images & text.

I have a demo of pagify.js but i just cannot get it to work. Im quite new to jquery but im a good learner. Ideally, it would be great to have a transition between changes like fade or slide but for now, to get it to change would be amazing lol!

Can someone give me a few pointers please?

Oh, and it has to work OFFLINE......

so i need to replace iframes for jQuery DIVS. Reading in the internet, its really simple. In proactice, it seems much harder.

Notes:

all external pages are within the folder structure to the index.html that is looking at them

all images are in a folder called images

Scenario:

Index has a DIV called 'Sizzle'. in this div, i want to change the content to 3 possible pages (pg1, pg2, pg3)

any one of these pages need to be displayed in the div. all pages have images on them.

Questions:

can images be shown in the divs as they can in iframes?

why doesnt this code work?-

code to go into a button that slides a page into a specific area

can a div content change from a button clicked within that div? for example:

a button on the main page changes the content of a div. In that content is a set of buttons and by clicking one of them, the content on the main div will change or would i div down in tiers? (does that make sense?)

what code do i put into a page that is being displayed in a div

im new here and hoping for a bit of direction / help. At work, i need to make a template for ipad for an internal website. The things i need to make work are-

header stays the same at all times

the middle section is interactive. 4 buttons on the top would change the content in the div. each page that shows inside the div can also change.

i have included a few shots to try and explain. Can anybody help me on this please and / or direct me to a good place for templates etc? i cant seem to get dreamweaver to behave and be interactive with jquery but then, i have never really got on with dreamweaver lol :)
