I'm testing out the flip switch feature of JQM 1.4.3 but for some reason everything I know about them data-wise is not working for me.
What I'm testing is on flip switch change, I want to get the current value, but no matter how many times I change the flip switch, the value does not match the state displayed.
I'm also trying to toggle the flip switch on a button press. Value wise, it is toggling between on and off but the flip switch does not show the correct state even after calling the refresh method recommended from the JQM 1.4.3 API documentations.
The documentations for refreshing a flip switch that I'm looking at is: link
I'm currently testing JQM 1.4.3's tab feature and I've ran into a few issues so I wanted to see if there's a fix for this or if it's just me doing something wrong.
My first issue is that I want to have the first tab button highlighted on load but when I click between the other tab buttons, the first button remains highlighted until it's clicked again. What I'm doing is just programmatically clicking the button on load. Not sure if this is the best solution but I don't know any other way.
Another issue is that the tab doesn't render properly when the HTML code is in another HTML and the first page changes to the page that has the tab HTML code. I guess the easiest way to explain this is with an example.
I have two HTML files both at the root.
Basically, the index page is a login page and there's a button that changes page to the main. Self explanatory I guess.
The result of the tab after logging in looks like this:
Note that the screenshot is actually the full screen and that the padding on the right is actually how it looks on the screen. I'm using Chrome to view this on a Mac (not sure if this makes a different or not though).
As you can see, the tab contents that's suppose to be hidden is not and the first tab is not where it's suppose to be. This only happens when the tab HTML is within another HTML page and is later loaded. If tab HTML code is within the same HTML file, and is later changed using the page identifier, everything seems to work. Not sure what this means but I can only guess that either the way I change between pages or the second page doesn't load correctly. Either way, it doesn't work for me but I'm not sure if this can be duplicated for someone else.
Can someone please help me with this issue or at least explain why this is happening?
I'm trying to stop a JQM1.3 panel from opening if a certain condition is met. So far I have an event that checks before the panel is open and check a global variable if it equals a condition should prevent the panel from opening. This is the what I have so far JSFiddle Link.
I'm having a weird issue that may or may not be repeatable for other people but I managed to repeat it every time. This issue only happens on an iPad though and does not happen on the browser.
This is a phone application using a mash up with PhoneGap to access the WebSQL library as well as some other stuff but only needing the WebSQL for this issue.
I'm using JQM1.3.1 but I don't want to update to the latest 1.4 because there's too many changes between the two versions.
What I'm doing:
I have a listview that on app load, is loading records dynamically using data from the database. On click of each records, a detail panel opens with another SQL query to get more data on that record. Detail panel is also dynamically loaded with data.
Before this issue, I had a different issue where if the user clicks multiple records too quickly, it would mess up the panel and it prevents the app from functioning properly after. The code snippet for that fix that is also included in this example but I'm pretty sure this fix is not what's causing the current issue as this existed before this change as well.
After the app loads the listview, I click on any record and the panel opens. This is correct but then when I close the panel by swiping, the listview is now no longer able to be scrolled.
It's also possible to fix this issue in run time by after closing the panel and the listview is locked, open any other record and close the panel again. Listview is now no longer locked and the issue can not be repeated again.
This happens only once on app open and to repeat, completely close the app (in background as well) and re-open the app.
A simplified version of this example does not include the WebSQL part but hopefully you get the idea and would be able to help.
I'm currently trying to create a listview that sets a value in a panel dynamically and opening the panel on click.
I want to make it so that on an item click, it first closes the opened panel, sets the value and re-open it again for a visual affect.
The problem is the first time the panel opens, everything is fine but on the next list item click (any), the panel opens but then immediately closes. Does anyone know what is happening? This is what I have so far:
