We are creating a rapid HTML prototyping tool named App Sketcher (http://www.appwork.com). It's a desktop (for both PC and Mac) application that uses an embedded webkit browser as its design surface. HTML tags, jQuery UI components and web widgets (such as Google Maps and YouTube player) can be drag and drop to form a page quickly. Simple actions can be defined as well. User can then run/test the prototype in their default browser and export the source once they are satisfied with the design.
The discussion we want to have here is whether it's a good idea to extend jQuery UI theme to the whole page. The current version (a release candidate) does extend it to the whole page. Most of the beta testers think it's good. But we do hear some objections. We want to bring it to this bigger user community and get a sense on it. Any input appreciated. Thanks.
