I'm running into a problem with the jQuery Cycle plugin where some of my images will go missing. It will randomly not show some images, and sometimes it will also show the image once, but not again on successive rotations.
I'm wondering if this has anything to do with placing the images as CSS backgrounds? (I'm using backgrounds so I can center very large images.)

I'm using the Cycle Plugin to have a slideshow scroll left and right. Everything is running smoothly except visually. It's a small but noticeable detail: when the slide scrolls left or right into its final position, there is a brief moment where the space to the right of the slideshow container peeks a bit of the slide out.You can see it in the attachment (Unfortunately, I coudn't snap these fast enough and had to video record it!).Attachments- cycle-buggy1.png

Anyone have a recommendation for a pop-in window plugin that has # hashtag permalinking capabilities?- I'm trying to look for images that contain 'x.jpg' and remove its <img> container. I'm using the :contains and remove feature without success. What am I doing wrong?$("img:contains('x.jpg')").remove();
