Hi I am hiding all the children of body and adding a new div for a few seconds, this is fine then a few seconds later I remove this div and use .show to show the original content when I do this it also shows the script tag and its contents.  why does it show the script tag and contents this isn't a child of the body tag???  How do I stop?

Hi I am trying to select all text boxes that are a child of form with a certain class.  I can't get it to fire is this how
I should do the selection?
I am then checking multiple textboxes contain text then enable or disable a text box

In PHP I am querying my database and creating a XML document. that has the following layout.

I have created the following code trying to read these attributes to display into google maps here is my Jquery

I have several div on the page with the same class, the user can select any and it will make the same ajax call.

so I am using the .first method,.originally I was using .each but this fired unwanted AJAX calls, here is my code

Hi I am trying to remove the last "." from a string, but the substring says a length of one, this is removing all the contents of mString apart for the ,
"."  what am I wrong??

Hi I am trying to read an xml file into a div for the first time.  I have it working in a fashion but for some reason, it reads the first node ok but it reads all the sibling nodes at the same time, so I end up with a variable that contains all the values of the same node as it iterates through here is the xml file cut down.
