I get an error (below) when I try to run the following code (https://jsfiddle.net/o40dbvpx/1/) within my app. This is within a SP2013 solution and jQuery is loaded (as I can show alerts). I have tried jQuery 1.11.1 and 2.1.3.

Everything runs fine within the JSFiddle so I am sure I am hitting the correct location, but jQuery is now happy about something!

- I need a way to append the LABEL that is associated with the INPUT that is captured in the errorList; in other words I need to have a summary of errors and I need to know which field created the error. }When I click the "Next" button, my form is validated and returns the correct error message:"Last Name is required"But if I go back to that wizard step and it validates it again, the new error message is:"Last NameLast Name is required is required"And if I validate again is keeps appending! I am not sure why it is growing my message. I may be modifying the error message in the wrong location but I do not know where else to manipulate it from.I am trying to avoid having to create a messages: {} on the validator listing all my required fields but I can't use the default "This field is required" message either.Please help! TIA!!- I am trying to format the date if the user manually types in the date instead of using the datepicker calendar to enter a date value. Is there a way this can be done with the .datepicker associated with the textbox?TIA!
- Hi, I am new to jquery and am trying to centralize my code to make it run smoothly for areas of my form that repeat the same basic functionality. I have a ton of yes/no type radio button questions that will make an additional section of form data appear. I have it successfully show the "div" but then the radio button selection disappears from the UI. Please see my jsFiddle http://jsfiddle.net/jqueryNoviceUser/vY5fn/ that demonstrates my issue.
