- I upgraded my jquery and jquery ui today so that I could use autocomplete and now my sortable which was working is now broken here is the code
and here is the error message I get

- I have a dialog with the following

and when the user hits the find button it runs ajax and returns orders to the dialog and it get dynamically re-sized but it only extends the box down. Is there way to make the box extend up and down so that the dialog remains centered ?also if there was enough content then it could potentially go beyond the bounds of the page so I would think I could use a max height to prevent that but what do I do if they re-size the window ?
I tried adding maxHeight: 500, and that didn't stop it from extending off the bottom

Mike- ok so I figured out that you can put in image in your page using .load
imageloader.php
but is there a way to load an image using regular
ajax call .
alittle more explanation of what I'm trying to do
in my php I use imagejpeg function which outputs the image using gd
great!
and in my html i use to just go <img src="imageloader.php?
dir=directory&name=filename" /> and that worked except now I don't
want to pass that info in the query string I want to post the info AND
I want all my ajax calls to run through the same ajax function which
is why I don't want to use .load
any thoughts or suggestions

Mean Mike- I have a nested sortable list and I am using toggle to hide li
elements but when I want to add to the ul I want to show all the all
li's of the ul I'm adding to so I know where i want to put them so I
do that like this

$(this).parent().next("ul").children().toggle('slow');
});
so when I move an li over the ul i want to show('slow) the children
of that ul but i'm not show how to trigger that event
any help would be appreciated

I've seen different tree plugins but I have been only able to find one
that i like it seem to be an old instance of ui-tree can someone
direct me to a good tree plugin
what I really need is to just list a list of items where anything can
become a parent or child and can then be serialized back to the
database Ideally providing left and right values based on the nested
set model

Hello all,
I found an example of ui tree here http://sandbox.tinctuur.be/tree/ it
works great with the version of jquery and jquery ui supplied but not
with the current version does anybody know if there is a version of
this out there that I can use with up to date versions of ui and
jquery as well maybe some documentation to go with it ?

I've been trying to figure out how to add validation to jquery.autobox
and it works except if I have more than one on the page it only
validates the first one on submit though it will validate all other
fields around it ! I can get it to validate the remaining autobox
inputs if I give them focus and then take it a way that said I could
get around the problem by setting focus on inputs then setting focus
on something else but that's just sloppy coding.

having multiple autoboxes on a page doesn’t seem to work out too well
anyone know of a work around for this ?

Hello again,
I have a connected sortable that I'd like to keep contained to the
'sortcontainer' but it seems to be acting erratically not sure what
I"m doing wrong or if it is even possible ?

Hello all and thanks for looking,
I'm trying to use serialize option for ui sortable but each li has
multiple inputs and I want to get the inputs back not just the record
id
example

<li id="items_1">
<input type="text" id="field_1" value="hello" />
<input type="text" id="field_2" value="goodbye" />
</li>
<ul>
<li id="items_2">
<input type="text" id="field_1" value="foo" />
<input type="text" id="field_2" value="bar" />
</li>
and what I want back is a two dimensional array
so that the result of serialize looks like this
items[]=feild[]=hello&feild[]=goodbye&items[]=feild[]=foo&feild[]=bar
but the input items should not be sortable just the lis'
does that make sense to anyone ?

Hello all
I am trying to work with the cycle plugin and I'm having a bit of a
problem (what's new?) here is the scenario . I have multiple groups of
images that I want to cycle but I don't want to target them by id I
would rather target them by class however I also would like to use
paging. so I tried this

hello all,

and I keep getting undefined could some please point me in the right
direction ?

I'm working on a multifile upload system and I found that my form
function does not work in IE while I have a workaround I wonder why
this code doesn't work in IE ?
