Cycle2: prevent manual transition until images loaded
Hi, from what i can see on Cycle2, I'm not sure it is possible to stop the "next" slide appearing until it has loaded. I know it does this in "auto" mode, but on the "Manual" example, a blank image slides across and then loads. What I want to do is show the preloader on top of the current slide, load the images from the next slide, and *then* transition across on completion of image loading anybody have a solution please I'm assuming you might be able to hook into "cycle-before" and somehow stop

Hi all, anyone can help me? i have plan to create a web base app, like a sport judging app. it is the live scoring system that need more than one keypad for judge to input scores. how can i detect the correct keypad's input to the correct judge's ID on database. in easy word: judge number 1 pressed his keypad, and system should input given score to the database on judge number 1's field. i hope jquery can handle this. if anyone know and can help me to figure it out, i appreciate it very much. When I open the app I get an object error
Hi Guys, Can anybody shed some light on why I get an object error on certain devices when I open the app? It also does not happen every single time you open the app but randomly and also not all devices experience this when opening the app. Any thoughts?

Disable JQM styling? Text-shadow problems...
JQM is modifying a lot of elements: background, link shadows etc. I've added: <script> $(document).on('mobileinit', function () { $.mobile.ignoreContentEnabled = true; }); </script> And data-enhance="false" to my wrapper. But it still drops shadows under my menu items... How do I fully disable JQM besides for the elements I need it for?
JQM, scrolling to the top of content element from a page transition?
Using a single HTML file with multiple JQM pages is there a way on transition that I can scroll/revert back to the top of the content element when that page is transitioned too instead of the position it had left prior to the transition taking place? sliderstop event.
I was trying to get the change event on a slider to work and it would not file. I googled sliders and found sliderstop on stackoverflow and it works fine. I am using 1.4.5 and in the docs for that version, sliderstop does not exist. I did find sliderstop in 1.2 docs. Has that event been discontinued? If so, is there another event that I should be using? Thanks.

hey guys i was just checking my page speed over at google pagespeed here. and came to know that for each js file ofcourse there is an additonal request send , now apart from concatinating all the js files into one to reduce the number of request , is there any other way , plugin etc that can be used to reduce the number of request of all my js files to one request ? is there a way to do that ? i know this question is more appropriate for a webmaster forum , but i taught it would have a js solution
Timing Issue ?
At least I think it is a timing issue but I could be wrong. I have a web page that loads an Ordnance Survey (UK) map into a window and then needs to add a series of overlays containing my own data. The overlays do not always load with one or all 'missing' when the page is loaded. The situation is worsened when the page is refreshed. Variables not updating?
From what I have read, my variables should be dumping their data and getting new data when I call the function again. I cannot figure out why my code isn't doing this though. When the page first loads everything seems to be working. The function runs, and it grabs the price/qty. When I click .switcher-label, or any of the other elements listed below it doesn't change the variables though. They just stay the exact same as they were when the page first loaded. I have no idea what is going on here,

How to get the telephone code of a country detected geonames ?
Hello, I use the function of Geonames to locate countries where we connect. And my problem is that I have to fill in a phone number field at the beginning with a telephone code, this telephone code depends of the country. In my solution, the code works if I select a country, but when the page is initially charged (detected by Geonames country), the country is displayed but I do not get the phone code. How to prevent autofocus on first input when clicking a link on popup in jQuery Mobile
I have a textarea and a link in a jQuery Mobile popup. When I click link, textarea gets focused automatically and keypad is showing. (on ios) I wanted to redirect to another page by clicking the link, but before it redirects, keypad is showing which is not necessary as I don't want to change any text. I checked jQuery Mobile 1.4.5 demo page but it has same issue: http://demos.jquerymobile.com/1.4.5/popup/ But it seems 1.3.1 has no such issue. Please help me!!!

Hello guys I am new to jQuery and developing an app for a tablet with geolocations. I have a question about a button text I want to change. I have a button named vlock with the text "Lock". If I click the button the text should change to "Unlock" and the current position should be send to a msg box. So I can change the button from "Lock" to "Unlock" once! Hi all, I took over the maintenance of an existing Wordpress site that I did not create. It's original code is older, probably around 2010 or so. When I moved it to current Wordpress, a jQuery / Superfish slider on the homepage broke. It works but on page load, it slides constantly and not necessarily correctly.
