jQuery 1.9 attr() no longer returns current input value and instead returns old (default) input value
It appears that under jQuery 1.9, the .attr() method no longer returns the current input value and instead returns the old or default value no matter what changes have been made to the value of the input. Under jQuery 1.8, this code works as expected with the current value of input being returned by attr(). As a work-around, one can extract the current value of input directly from the DOM (see example for both methods). Am I doing something wrong, or is this the way jQuery 1.9 is supposed to work?

How to prevent jQuery Mobile Panel from disappearing behind Youtube embed in IE9
I am working with jQuery Mobile V 1.3.1 and the Youtube iFrame Embed using the asynchronous loading. The issue is in my app I have a slide panel that is hiding behind the Youtube embed in IE9. Understanding the way .get() works
Hey all, I'm relatively new with using jQuery, and I needed to ask a question about get(). I know load works with what I'm doing, but I'm trying to wrap my brain around get(). Currently I have two pages on the same server, and on my first page I'm calling .get() the following way: $.get("http://server01/index.php?/runs/plot/39&format=outline", function(data) { console.log("Data Loaded: " + data); }); I'm running it that way just to test if the HTML grabbed is coming back correctly.

I'm trying to determine if a class is added or not. To determine if a class was added, I can do if ($('#31').hasClass('item31required')){ But what I'm having a hard time getting right is checking to see the the class is NOT there. would it be: if !($('#31').hasClass('item31required')){ or if (!$('#31').hasClass('item31required')){ Thanks
Changing a style adding a link
Currently on our website we have a products page. It uses default text links if the product is in stock, or if the products has options to choose from. If the product is out of stock then there is no link displayed. I have some jquery that changes the code so that the text links show up as images. However what I would like to do is if the item is out of stock to show another image. The way it works is that a style tag gets changed to hidden if it is out of stock so I'd have to change that style
easyPaginate problem with Internet Explorer 64 bits
Hi, I am problem with easyPaginate and Internet Explorer 64 bits. I am using easyPaginate to paginate many items. When the search return few items, it's works. But, when return many items, it's not work. I getting the message: "Stack overflow at line 1123". Its only occour when I using Internet Explorer 64 bits. Version conflict
Hi, new to the forum. Am just making a few web dev tweaks for a client on their wordpress website. They have a nivo slider on their home page and want fancybox image pop-ups on their portfolio page. The nivo slider works fine but the fancybox functionality doesnt work with the version of jquery that wordpress loads by default. On putting a link to jquery-1.10.1.min.js above the fancybox javascript in the head, the fancybox now works but the nivo slider fails to function. Could anyone please advise?
Form conditional fields problem
Hello; I have a select box with option Newsletter unsubscription, if selected, then show the class unsuscribereason and hide classe message else then do the reverse. The code below works fine when i click on the option Newsletter unsubscription, the problem is that this condition didn't affect the form if : - I just visited the page where form is located; - When i reload the page. jQuery only apply the condition when i click an option and didn't set it as default for the form whatever situation.

UI Datepicker close on update an option
Hey, add a selectbox to buttonPanel. This selectbox calls a function "CheckRegionSelect" get's selectedIndex of selectbox and should update an own option in datepicker. After that i have to call datepicker("show"), to get the datepicker again displayed. All Changes are done but why does the datepicker closes after Changing an Option? [SOLVED] Problem with JQuery Dynamic Header
Hi. I've been racking my head with this for too long now, and was wondering if someone could point out my mistakes. Basically, I have two pages that are identical except for a string in the content. There is a header, that I want to dynamically display the page title. why jquery not working in IE8

How to keep sliding panel open on tablets
Hello, I have a problem with a panel. I want to keep it open when a user uses tablet that has width 560px or wider, so it acts like a nav menu.. I used the "pagebeforeshow" event to manually open the panel every time the page transition is triggered. I also used the "responsive panel" media css markup provided in panel api documentation to add the 17em "right margin" to content and header in order to use them together with the opened panel.. panel malfunction
It might just be that I have my HTML setup incorrectly but... I am using jquery mobile 1.3.1, viewing my page in Chrome on windows, same issue with chrome on android 4.2 When I try to slide a panel with a button, I get an error that $el.data( page[0], "mobile-page" ) is undefined at line 10313. Accidentally overwriting already existing plugins
Someone has pushed a plugin to plugins.jquery.com with the same name as a plugin of mine (formvalidator). It has overwritten my own plugin page on plugins.jquery.com. What can I do? It seems like a quite awful bug :(
