jQuery cross browser compatible?

[jQuery] tabs collapsed by default on open
Hello everyone. Is there a way to have tabs created in jQuery that are collapsed when the page loads? But how do I get the tab content to be hidden to begin with? fixed distribution of radiobuttons across defferent smartphone screen resolutions
I need an eight element radiobutton to always show as five buttons in one line and 3 in the next. When it is unregulated, all depends on screen resolution, so that you get in the first line as many as will fit there - even all eight. How to prevent this? The most barbarous, but effective way I can think of is table, but I would rather stay away. Grids seem too simplistic and would work with buttons rather than a set of radiobuttons. Is there a neater, more obvious solution?

How to grab css values from html code inside a string?
Hi, I am using Ajax and PHP to send back an array of divs generated. The divs css height value is auto. So, what I wan to do is grab the height value and then adjust the top value. How can I do this? ajax will return a jason to javascript. I know I can access them like an array. However, I can't figure out how to grab the css values? Also how can I get the height if the css height value is auto? Is there a way to figure out the height? I need to know the auto created height value the browser
Transition error in Android ??
I have made an application by using PhoneGap + JqueryMobile but when testing it on a Samsung S3 with android 4.1.1 the transition is not smooth. I have configured the transition to be 'slide' but the app blink the white page one time before it slide . I don't know how to fix it. Please help me !!

Custom build of $.Deferred, $.Callback, $.ajax
I'd really like to just have these from jQuery. No Sizzle, dimensions, etc. Anyone know how to do this? I haven't found an independent library or libraries that combine promises with ajax and treat deferred resolution as jQuery does (a non-promise value treated the same as a resolved promise). Problem with data-iconpos="notext"
I have a toolbar with some buttons in it. They are vertically centered when there is text next to them, but when I put in the attribute data-iconpos="notext" the button is no longer centered vertically. Problem with jQuery UI tabs and base tag
Hey, I have a problem with the tabs widget from the newest jquery.UI (Version 1.9.2) when my document has a <base href=""> tag. With the previous versions (1.8.23) it worked well. I did a little research and the problem accours in the isLocal() function where the link href is compared with the location.href. How can I change the data-icon depending of the network
Dear All, In my Application, I am testing the network. If the GPS if active, I want to have the check icon and if not I want to have the delete icon. I craeted that function. I do not understand why the icon is not change depending of the connection. The text() works (see teh commented code) but the icon does not change. What is wrong with this script?
I am trying use a form validation script that seems to have a "small" problem that is taking taking big to solve. When, I load the html page, i get a PAGE LOAD ERROR and the validation will not work on form submit. However, if I REFRESH the page, the form validation starts to work. This behaviour happens on chromo but the script does not work in explorer with or without refresh. Although, I do get the page load error as well.
