Div fields not getting displayed due to page refresh in jsp
Hi , I have a drop down which display different div tags based onchange(showfields). When i click on the form field in the div tag, it refreshes the page and the fields disappear without showing the form validation. The fields div has a display of none, hence when i click on login without any values,page refreshes and does not show the errors messages. [SOLVED] Programatically modifing collapsible content title
Hi all, I'm trying to programatically modify the title (i.e. the h3 tag) of a collapsible section via $('#elemTitle').html(...). After the change, collapsibleElem.collapsible({refresh:true}) is called. The title indeed updates but it's not styled as a collapsible element title. The body of the element can be successfully modified. Thanks in advance :)

Error while calling function inside another one

trouble setting custom headers
I am trying to set an "AUTH-KEY" into my HTTP Header for a GET request to our Postal Services API. I am receiving a 403-forbidden error, which suggests a problem with the key being read.(the same key works using PHP Curl, so its ok). how to access database from within beforeShowDay : datepicker
I am trying to access the booked dates from database inside beforeShowDay function. Jquery UI - Dialogs Content Loading Command
Hi, I am new to jquery and website building. I am currently trying to use jquery tabs and dialog to create a company page for our stores. I am using tabs for the different states and dialog for a pop up box with a picture of the store and a embed link to google maps. The problem I am having is we have about 80 stores and it is loading all the google maps at once when you enter the page. Which is causing the memory to run out and the page to crashes. I thought using the tabs would help with
touchOverflow: what now?
So, I developed an entire site using touchOverflow to achieve a "responsive" design that adapts well to devices of varying sizes, but now touchOverflow is being discontinued? Where does this leave me, exactly? This capability was, frankly, the most appealing aspect of jQuery Mobile, and was/is used to build jQm's own documentation pages... do I need to start freaking out now, or has this functionality been preserved somehow moving forward?

I've inserted HTML into the handle of a jQuery Mobile Slider, but I can't seem to get links to work normally. Is there a way to do this?
It appears that both right- and left-clicks are disabled when 'mousing' over a slider. Anyone know where to turn that off? Is that enough? I've even gone down the road of floating a DIV over the handle when I want the links to appear, but that seems like a silly route to take, especially since the cover the handle and prevent further use of the handle.
Assistance needed with listview and passing data when clicked to a new page.
I have a list of items that is dynamically pulled from a web service. It looks like this: What I want to happen, is I want the list item that is clicked, to somehow be declared as a variable....and the information for the clicked item, to be passed onto another page. Reinitialize after an ajax call - is there something better than manually calling the reinits?
Hello Well I looked through some posts, it seems there is no better option than actually reinit everything by hand. Am I right with this? e.g. something like $(document).ready(...) does not exist for an ajax load? I ask because the last answer was like 3 years ago to this subject - just to make sure, because it will be a lot of effort and testing for me now to do it this way. the ajax calls are done through a completely different framework (java JSF), so I can not profit from any jquery specialities.

Hello - I want to implement a search page in jQuery Mobile. At the top of the search page I want to include search criteria filters like the one provided by the framework for the navigation list. However, I want the search criteria filters to make ajax calls to a lookup web service as opposed to filter a predefined list. So how can I implement the look and feel of the list search filter but built as a stand-alone control that lets me make custom ajax calls?
Styling autofill dropdown on Search Input
Hi All, hope this hasn't been discussed before, and it's entirely possible I'm not searching the right thing! I'm using an input type of "search" which nicely pretties my search field. It keeps a history of what I type, and when I start typing the same word again it will do an autocomplete-type dropdown (at least in FF and Chrome it does). I'm guessing it's just the browser doing this, it's not an autocomplete. Is there some way to nicely style this dropdown, or possibly remove it altogether if

Modal Dialog opening in the same place
Currently, if you have a click even top open a modal modal dialog, and then you move that modal dialog, and then fire of the event to open the original modal dialog, it will reopen in the position it was moved to. This was not the behavior I was looking for, so I had to implement an addition function to my click event to reset the position.
