A little disappointed in "Support"

I have recently completed my first jQuery plugin a few days ago. But let me start by saying that I came from the Prototype/Scriptaculous world and was very hesitant to switch to jQuery. Lets just say it was a welcomed relief to use jQuery over Prototype. Though they are very similar in syntax jQuery is much much easier to code and I have learned more about Javascript itself using it to develop web apps.

I have gotten to the point were I feel confident that I can develop plugins that are worthy of the jQuery Plugins Repository. Everything was all good until it came to trying to upload the damned thing. I have run into brick wall after brick wall; no access to anything on the site. Very disappointing.

No one even answers the post about this same issue that has obviously been an issue for sometime now. I actually convinced other developers to use jQuery versus any other framework and now I feel embarrassed that I did that. I mean how can I recommend this framework to colleagues and tell them in the same breath that I could not upload my plugin?

Disappointing!

Dojo seems like my next framework; maybe my primary.
