Accordion - expand all?

I am implementing J. Zaefferer's accordion plugin.
Is there a way (or option, but I couldn't find one) to have a specific
header 'expand all' or 'open all' the sections?
I have written a snippet of jquery to show() all the sections, but
then the accordion loses track of what is open.
I'm not sure how to expound on this any further, so let me know what
you need to know...
