[accordion] Switch list icon only if head has a child element


Hi,
got a small problem with the image in front of my list elements. If I
move my mouse pointer over a head element of my accordion menu, it
changes the arrow image in front of it (shows up a down arrow) and
opens, if available, the second level menu.
I think it makes sense only to do the image changing, if there are
child elements to this head, and not on every head element by default.
Is there a small and simple solution to check, if the head has some
childs, and if so changing the image, and not if not?
