ajax post issues on mobile view

why doesnt ajax post work in mobile view? is there any special way for making it work as it does in desktop view?

to be more specific:

I have ajax login which is set to redirect to another page on success. It works in normal desktop mode but when tested on mobile devices (smartphones) then it gets stuck in the same login page despite the success.
