Almost fix jquery plugin "pan view"

Almost fix jquery plugin "pan view"

Pan view is to view large image inside a small box. You can find it here

Now it works in ie. But in firefox, I need to refresh second time, in order to make the 'drag' to work properly.
I need to fix this bit as I need this plugin. I guess the issue is I am using the jquery 1.2.3, while the pan view is using a 2006 one.
